| David Bornfriend was born in a small rural community in western Connecticut. He spent the remainder of his childhood in various parts of Tennessee. After graduating Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Mass Communication he set out to pursue a career in 3D modeling for animation. While pursuing portfolio development at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA, he had a near fatal motorcycle accident. After a long recovery and and rediscover of himself, David realized what had always been there, and that is his passion for photography. His early years growing up in rural countryside of Connecticut and Tennessee really impacted his aesthetic in his use of earth-tone colors, texture, and the cinematic quality of light.
