| David Bornfriend was born in a small rural community in western Connecticut. He spent the remainder of his childhood in various parts of Tennessee. His early years growing up in rural countryside of Connecticut and Tennessee really impacted his aesthetic in his use of earth-tone colors, texture, and the cinematic quality of light.
